hello , today I'm going to talk about one of my first experiences in my life. Oh yes, as u can depicts from the picture , i went to my friend's sister engagement . The sister also happen to be some one who was manager of a place i worked . okay, lets get to the point , so it was my first experience attending malay engagement . The moment i arrived at house ( oh yes , they get engaged inside the house ) . I was overwhelmed with excitement as i waited for my manager . Unfortunately , we couldn't meet her straight away because the groom family came ( i was pretty lost about it too . ) So, the clique and i went downstairs to buffet ! It was so delicious. About half an hour or so , the groom's family arrived to the same venue to get their tummies filled . They were with baskets full of gifts , such as cakes , chocolates , watch and some malay traditional clothes if im not wrong. Afterwards , it was our turn to see my manager , so as we entered her room , "wow" it was filled with gifts too! As conclusion , i think malay engagement is so different from how western do it . Anyways, it was great experience and glad that she gotten a lot of gifts!
